Beschreibung
PHC capacitors feature MKP (Metallized Polypropylene) dielectric with axial leads, suitable for high-current, high-frequency, and switching applications. The dielectric is polypropylene; electrodes are vacuum-deposited metal layers; the coating consists of UL 510 / CSA TIL I-26 polyester tape wrapping and UL 94 V-0 resin end-fill, providing flame-retardant properties. Extended metallized film construction is used, with internal series connection for Ur ≥ 850Vdc. Leads are tinned copper wire (lead-free); protection class is IP00. Proper heat dissipation must be ensured during mounting; surface-contact arrangement of multiple components is not permitted; recommended minimum spacing between adjacent components ≥ 1/2 of the diameter dimension. Reference standards: IEC 61071, IEC 60068; RoHS compliant. Climatic category: 40/85/56 (IEC 60068/1), GPD (DIN40040). Maximum permissible ambient temperature: +70°C (under operation at rated power, current, voltage, and natural cooling). Nominal capacitance range: 0.1μF to 60μF; capacitance tolerance (at 1kHz): ±10% (code K), ±5% (code J), and ±20% (code M); other tolerances available on request. Temperature coefficient of capacitance: refer to general technical information. Long-term stability: capacitance change ≤ ±1% after 2 years under standard environmental conditions. Rated voltage (Ur) (Vdc) at 85°C: 250, 330, 400, 600, 700, 850Vdc; non-repetitive surge voltage (Upk) at 85°C: 400, 500, 600, 800, 1000, 1200Vdc. Self-inductance ≤ 1nH/mm (capacitor and connecting lead length); maximum pulse rise rate v/μs and maximum peak current (Ipeak): refer to product table; maximum non-repetitive Ipk = 1.5 × Ipeak. Dissipation factor (DF) maximum: tgδ × 10⁻⁴ measured at 25 ± 5°C, 1kHz. Insulation resistance (RINS) ≥ 30000s but need not exceed 30GΩ (typical), measured after 1 minute energization at 100Vdc (25 ± 5°C). Terminal-to-terminal test voltage: 1.6 × Ur (DC) applied for 10s or 2 × Ur (DC) applied for 2s, at 25 ± 5°C; terminal-to-case test voltage: 3kV 50÷60Hz applied for 60s, at 25 ± 5°C. Damp heat test (steady state): list of permissible high-humidity and temperature tests; bias test applies only to production codes after March 2019; bias test applies rated Ur (DC only). Performance: capacitance change ≤ ±2% in test "a", ≤ ±10% in tests "b" and "c"; DF change ≤ 0.0010 (at 1kHz) in test "a", ≤ 2 × initial limit (at 1kHz) in tests "b" and "c"; RINS ≥ 50% of initial limit. Typical capacitance change vs. operating time: −5% capacitance change after 30,000 hours at Urms or 100,000 hours at Ur. Expected lifetime ≥ 100,000 hours (Ur); failure rate: 300/10⁶ component hours. Soldering heat resistance test conditions: solder bath temperature = +260 ± 5°C, immersion time (with heat shield) = 7 ± 1s; performance: capacitance change ≤ ±1%, DF change ≤ 0.0010 (at 1kHz), RINS ≥ 50% of initial limit.
