The ND Series, based on Superior's NimbleSense architecture, extends the operating temperature range to -20°C ~ 85°C while increasing the pressure range to 5 psi (345 mBar). Additionally, the ND Series incorporates the company's proprietary Multi-Range technology, creating the widest dynamic range in the industry. This wider dynamic range enables multiple pressure ranges within a single package, reducing the number of sensor variants required to support the demanding functional requirements of different industrial market segments. For example, a Multi-Range-enabled ND sensor can replace up to 7 competing products, greatly simplifying installation requirements and significantly reducing inventory costs.
The ND Series supports pressure ranges from as low as 0.25 inH₂O to as high as 5 psi, making it ideal for a wide variety of industrial applications ranging from air curtains to environmental test chambers, ophthalmic surgical equipment, drones, and 3D printing.
The ND Series measures dry air and non-corrosive gas pressure with exceptional accuracy and a stable zero point. Its non-linearity is also industry-leading, typically 0.05% FSS. The ND Series features selectable bandwidth filters from 1 Hz to 200 Hz and 16-bit resolution. To enhance performance, the ND Series also integrates a 50/60 Hz notch filter to minimize the impact of power supply noise spikes. The ND Series is the ideal choice for applications with extremely high reliability requirements.
The ND Series offers a new level of integration, combining advanced piezoresistive sensing elements with integrated amplifiers, ADC, DSP, and digital interfaces, greatly simplifying customer integration efforts.
