The TRS Thermal Reed Switch is a highly reliable, precision temperature-sensitive switch ideally suited for energy-saving applications. The TRS-P threaded mounting package enables easy installation — simply screw it into the device requiring temperature detection or over-temperature monitoring. Its unique proprietary design incorporates a magnet and a temperature-sensitive soft magnetic material called Thermorite®. This material's magnetic flux density decreases as temperature rises and transitions to a paramagnetic state at the Curie temperature. These products are also certified by the International Relay Association.
