The OPB930 and OPB940 series Photologic® photoelectric IC switches offer design engineers maximum flexibility. Based on a standard housing with a 0.125-inch (3.18 mm) slot width, users can specify the type and polarity of TTL output, discrete housing material, aperture width, and either 0.350-inch (8.9 mm) leads (L series) or 24-inch (610 mm) AWG, UL-listed wire (W series). All housings are molded from opaque-grade plastic to minimize component sensitivity to visible and near-infrared ambient radiation. The discrete housing (exposed on parallel faces within the device throat) can be either infrared-transmissive plastic (for applications where aperture contamination may occur) or opaque plastic (for maximum ambient light rejection). The electrical output can be specified as TTL totem-pole or TTL open-collector, both available with buffered or inverting output polarity. All devices incorporate a built-in hysteresis amplifier for enhanced stability. Custom electrical, wire, cable, and connector configurations are available.
