Beschreibung
TPS745-Q1 is a 500mA ultra-low dropout regulator (LDO) with a power-good indicator. The device is available in a small 6-pin 2mm×2mm WSON package and a small 8-pin 3mm×3mm VSON package, both with wettable flanks for optical inspection. The TPS745-Q1 features low quiescent current consumption and provides fast line and load transient performance.
The TPS745-Q1 supports an input voltage range of 1.5V to 6.0V and an externally adjustable output voltage range of 0.55V to 5.5V, making it a flexible post-regulator. Fixed output voltage options are also available to power common voltage rails.
The TPS745-Q1 includes a power-good (PG) output that monitors the feedback pin voltage to indicate output voltage status. The EN input and PG output can be used to sequence multiple power supplies in a system.
The TPS745-Q1 remains stable when used with small ceramic output capacitors, supporting a compact overall solution. The precision bandgap and error amplifier provide high accuracy — ±0.85% (maximum) at 25°C and ±1.5% (maximum) over the full operating temperature range. The device integrates thermal shutdown, current limiting, and UVLO protection. The TPS745-Q1 features internal foldback current limiting to help reduce power dissipation during short-circuit events.
