Luminus's vertical chip LED technology enables large-area LED chips with uniform luminance across the entire LED chip surface. The optical power and brightness generated by these large monolithic chips enable solutions that replace arc lamps and halogen lamps — applications where conventional high-power LED arrays fall short. The Luminus CBT-90 LED features a thermal resistance of 0.5°C/W, the lowest in the market, allowing it to be driven at higher current densities while maintaining low junction temperatures, resulting in brighter illumination and longer service life. Luminus LEDs help reduce power consumption and minimize hazardous waste entering the environment; all products are RoHS-compliant and free of hazardous substances such as lead and mercury.
