MACOM MAAD-011053-DIE

MAAD-011053-DIE is a wideband bidirectional, 1-bit GaAs (pHEMT) digital step attenuator with a 2 dB step. Complementary 0 V and -5 V logic inputs are required to switch the attenuator state from insertion loss to the attenuation state. This die belongs to a family of single-bit digital attenuators covering the same frequency range with identical physical dimensions, including models with step values of 4 dB, 6 dB, 8 dB, and 10 dB. The functional schematic illustrates its structure. In the pad configuration, ground pads 1, 3, 4, and 6 are connected to the backside of the die through vias, so these pads may be left floating. This device complies with the hazardous substance restrictions of the current EU RoHS Directive.
