The HR Series general-purpose LVDTs deliver the optimal performance required for most applications. A 1/16-inch (1.6 mm) radial clearance between the large mandrel and bore allows adequate mounting tolerance, reducing application costs. These versatile, highly reliable LVDTs feature high output voltage and a wide operating frequency range, enabling trouble-free, precise position measurement. The HR Series is available in multiple stroke ranges from ±0.05 to ±10 inches, and can be configured with various standard options including guided mandrels and small-diameter/low-mass mandrels. High-temperature (200°C) operation and mild radiation-resistant versions are also available (consult factory). The HR Series is compatible with the full line of Measurement Specialties LVDT signal conditioners. As with most LVDTs, HR windings are vacuum-impregnated with a specially formulated high-temperature flexible resin, and the coil assembly is encapsulated within the housing using a two-part epoxy, providing excellent resistance to harsh environments including high humidity, vibration, and shock.
