The TSOP95... series devices are the latest generation of miniaturized IR receiver modules for infrared remote control systems. These series offer improved sensitivity to remote control signals in dark environments, as well as improved sensitivity in the presence of optical interference (e.g., from compact fluorescent lamps). The devices contain a PIN diode and a preamplifier assembled on a lead frame. An infrared filter is incorporated in the epoxy package. In general, it is recommended to select the highest AGC that satisfactorily receives the required remote control codes. These components are not qualified to automotive specifications.
