This series of wall-mount transmitters features two-wire, 4 to 20 mA loop-powered output, with an optional three-wire voltage output signal. All transmitters include zero and span adjustments for field calibration using certified equipment. Installation with 18 to 22 AWG shielded cable is recommended for all temperature transmitter installations to minimize the possibility of noise being introduced on the signal leads. Sensor assemblies are manufactured with color-coded etched Teflon leads and processed through a proven double-encapsulation technique to eliminate the effects of moisture on the sensor, using high-quality thermally conductive epoxy to improve thermal response. Wall-mount transmitters are designed for installation on a standard single-gang junction box or wall opening, and include a foam gasket to reduce the effects of transmitter self-heating and wall cavity air currents. For accuracy, the A/TTM series matched transmitters are recommended, as they include a second-step calibration procedure that calibrates the RTD and transmitter as a system. Optional tamper-resistant mounting screws and driver bits are available to prevent the cover from being removed from the wall.
