Descrizione
This series of 6-ampere bidirectional solid-state switches is designed for AC switching and phase control applications such as motor speed and temperature regulation control, lighting control, and static switching relays. Sensitive gate devices ensure gate triggering in the first and fourth quadrants as required by digital control circuits. Standard devices typically operate in the first and third quadrants, triggered by the AC line. Alternating thyristor devices operate only in the first, second, and third quadrants, for circuits requiring high dv/dt capability. Agency Approvals

- Glass passivated junction
- Voltage capability up to 1000 V
- Surge capability up to 85 A
- Isolation rating of 2500 VRMS for L package
- Solid-state switching eliminates arcing or contact bounce that generates voltage transients
- No contact wear due to switching events
- Limits (or reduces) RFI generation based on sine wave activation point
- Only one short gate activation pulse required per half cycle
- Recognized under UL 1557 as an electrically isolated semiconductor device
