ATLAS EZO-CO2

The Atlas Scientific EZO-CO2 Embedded Carbon Dioxide Sensor uses a Non-Dispersive Infrared (NDIR) gas detection unit to measure CO2 levels in gaseous substrates. The NDIR detection unit is a single-wavelength spectrophotometer specifically designed to detect infrared radiation at 4.2μm. This sensor only detects gaseous CO2 levels and cannot detect dissolved CO2 levels — do not submerge it in liquid. After power-on or wake from sleep mode, the sensor requires a 10-second warm-up period before outputting readings. Once warm-up is complete, CO2 readings begin, and the sensor continues warming up over the next few minutes; as the internal temperature stabilizes, the CO2 readings will also stabilize. The sensor ships factory-calibrated with a two-point calibration (low-point at 0 ppm, high-point at 4000 ppm); calibration data is permanently stored in the sensor and can be customized at any time.
