This product specification covers insulated quick disconnect terminals with nylon/PVC insulation for 26 AWG to 10 AWG wire.

1. Insulated Quick Disconnect Terminals

• Type 19003 fully insulated female quick disconnect, for 26–10 AWG wire
• Type 19004 fully insulated male coupler, for 22–10 AWG wire
• Type 19005 fully insulated female coupler, for 22–10 AWG wire
• Type 19007 fully insulated female flag quick disconnect, for 22–10 AWG wire
• Type 19011 partially insulated piggyback quick disconnect, for 22–10 AWG wire
• Type 19013 fully insulated piggyback quick disconnect, for 22–10 AWG wire
• Type 19017 partially insulated quick disconnect, for 26–10 AWG wire
• Type 19023 fully/partially insulated male quick disconnect, for 22–10 AWG wire
• Type 19606 low-profile fully insulated female quick disconnect, for 12–10 AWG wire

2. Dimensions, Materials, Plating, and Marking

• Dimensional characteristics are specified on the selling drawings.
• Materials:
  • Base material is C26000 brass in various thicknesses, except Types 19004 and 19023, which are made of C26000 brass or C11000 copper.
  • Plating is matte tin, minimum 100 microinches, with the following exceptions: Type 19004 is plated with zinc chromate; Type 19023 is plated with matte tin or zinc chromate.
  • Insulation material is nylon 94V2 or 94V0 in various colors, with the following exceptions: Types 19011 and 19017 use PVC 94V2 in various colors; Type 19023 partial insulation uses PVC 94V2 in various colors, or nylon 94V2 or 94V0 in various colors.

3. Safety Agency Approvals

• Most parts are UL recognized, File No. E79133, Category RFWV.
• Most parts are CSA certified, File No. 018689, Class 6227-01.
• All parts are RoHS compliant.

4. Ratings

• Voltage: All parts are rated at 600VAC.
• Current: Current ratings are based on the wire AWG applied to the terminal per UL 310, as shown below. 26 and 24 AWG are outside the scope of UL Standard 310.
• Maximum operating temperature: 105°C (221°F)

5. Performance: Sample preparation, wire requirements, test descriptions, and tabular data conform to UL Standard 310.
6. Packaging: Parts shall be packaged to prevent damage during handling, shipping, and storage.
