Beschreibung
The SN74LVC86A-Q1 is a quadruple 2-input exclusive-OR gate designed for operation with a VCC of 2.7V to 3.6V. The device performs the Boolean function Y = A ⊕ B or Y = A̅B + AB̅ in positive logic. One common application is as a true/complement element: if one input is low, the signal on the other input is reproduced in its true form at the output; if one input is high, the signal on the other input is reproduced in its complemented form at the output. Device inputs can be driven by 3.3V or 5V devices, allowing this device to be used as a level translator in mixed 3.3V/5V systems. XOR gates have numerous applications, some of which can be better represented using alternative logic symbols. All five equivalent XOR symbols apply to the SN74LVC86A gate in positive logic, with negation shown at any two ports. Logic identity element: output is active low when all inputs are at the same logic level (i.e., A = B). Even-parity element: output is active low when an even number of inputs (i.e., 0 or 2) are active. Odd-parity element: output is active high when an odd number of inputs (i.e., only 1 of 2 inputs) are active.
