High-speed MOSFET drivers capable of sourcing or sinking up to 500 mA peak current. The inverting or non-inverting single-channel output is directly controlled by TTL or CMOS logic levels (3V to 18V). These devices also feature low shoot-through current, matched rise/fall times, and propagation delay characteristics, making them ideal for high switching frequency applications. Operable from a single supply of 4.5V to 18V, they can easily charge and discharge a 470 pF gate capacitance in less than 19 ns (typical). In both the on and off states, sufficiently low impedance is provided to ensure that even large transient signals cannot affect the intended state of the MOSFET. Within their power and voltage ratings, these devices are virtually latch-up proof under any conditions. Noise spikes of up to 5V in amplitude (either polarity) on the ground pin will not cause damage. They can withstand reverse currents of up to 500 mA being forced into their outputs without damage or logic inversion. In addition, all pins are fully protected against ESD up to 3 kV (HBM) and 400 V (MM).
