Beschreibung
The OPB818 slot switch consists of an infrared LED and an NPN silicon phototransistor mounted in a low-cost black plastic housing on opposite sides of a 0.200-inch (5.080 mm) wide slot. Switching action of the phototransistor occurs whenever an opaque object passes through the slot. The OPB818 is designed to be soldered directly to a PCB or mounted in a standard DIP socket, with a slot depth of 0.25 inches (6.35 mm) and a width of 0.20 inches (5.08 mm). The apertures on both the sensor side ("S") and emitter side ("E") are 0.033 inches (0.84 mm).
