CM1423 is an EMI filter array with ESD protection, integrating six Pi-type filters (C-R-C) and four channels of ESD protection. The filter component values of the CM1423 are 12 pF - 100 Ω - 12 pF. Each pin of the device incorporates ESD protection diodes, providing a high level of protection for sensitive electronic components susceptible to electrostatic discharge (ESD). All ESD diodes can safely dissipate ±15 kV ESD strikes, exceeding the maximum requirements of the IEC 61000-4-2 international standard. Per the MIL-STD-883 (Method 3015) Human Body Model (HBM) ESD specification, the pins can withstand contact discharge greater than ±30 kV.

Due to its small package and easy-to-use pin assignment, the device is particularly suitable for portable electronics such as mobile phones, personal digital assistants, and laptops. In particular, the CM1423 is well suited for EMI filtering and ESD protection of data lines at Secure Digital (SD) card interface slots in mobile phones. The CM1423 is a comprehensive solution for SD card interfaces, as its EMI filters provide an appropriate cutoff frequency to attenuate unwanted signals.

The CM1423 is manufactured in a space-saving thin chip-scale package, with an optional OptiGuard coating available for enhanced reliability. It features a RoHS-compliant lead-free surface finish.
