개요
PPA capacitors feature an MKP construction with double-sided metallized current carriers, axial terminals, suitable for snubber, high-pulse, high-current, and high-frequency applications. The dielectric is polypropylene; electrodes are vacuum-deposited metal layers; coating consists of UL 510 / CSA TIL I-26 polyester tape wrapping and UL 94 V-0 resin end-filling, providing flame-retardant properties. The capacitor is constructed with series-connected extended double-sided metallized carrier films and metallized films; terminals are tinned copper wire (lead-free); protection rating is IP00. Proper heat dissipation must be ensured during mounting; when components are placed side by side, a minimum spacing ≥ 1/2 of the diameter dimension is recommended. Compliant with IEC 61071, IEC 60068, and RoHS requirements; climate category 40/85/56 (IEC 60068/1), GPD (DIN40040). Operating temperature range (case): -40 ~ +85°C; maximum permissible ambient temperature: +70°C (under rated power, current, voltage, and natural cooling conditions). Damp heat test (steady state): refer to relevant high-humidity and temperature test list; bias test applies only to production codes after March 2019; bias test applies rated Ur (DC only). Performance requirements: capacitance change varies by test — test "a" ≤ ±2%, tests "b" and "c" ≤ ±10%; DF change in test "a" ≤ 0.0010 (at 1 kHz), tests "b" and "c" ≤ 2 × initial limit (at 1 kHz); insulation resistance RINS ≥ 50% of initial limit.
