TPSMB asymmetric transient voltage suppressor (TVS) diodes protect automotive silicon carbide (SiC) MOSFET gate drivers (TPSMBxx05CA) from overvoltage events and provide reverse battery protection for 12V systems (TPSMBxx12, TPSMBxx16, and TPSMBxx18). These devices feature asymmetric reverse standoff voltages, enabling simultaneous protection against both positive and negative transients with different clamping characteristics in a single component — making them an ideal solution for robust protection in automotive electronic systems.
