The FM25Q16A is a 16M-bit (2M-byte) Serial Flash memory, with advanced write protection mechanisms. The FM25Q16A supports the standard Serial Peripheral Interface (SPI), Dual/Quad I/O as well as 2-clock instruction cycle Quad Peripheral Interface (QPI). They are ideal for code shadowing to RAM, executing code directly from Dual/Quad SPI (XIP) and storing voice, text and data. The FM25Q16A can be configured to protect part of the memory as the software protected mode.
