The AN1312 module is based on the CC1312R. This device is a Sub-1 GHz wireless microcontroller designed for wireless M-Bus, IEEE 802.15.4g, IPv6-enabled smart objects (6LoWPAN), KNX RF, Wi-SUN®, and proprietary systems including TI15.4-Stack. As a member of the SimpleLink™ microcontroller platform, which encompasses cost-effective, ultra-low-power 2.4 GHz and Sub-1 GHz RF devices. Its extremely low RF and MCU active current, combined with sub-microampere sleep current (with support for up to 80 KB parity-protected RAM retention), delivers exceptional battery life, enabling operation from small coin cell batteries and suitability for energy harvesting applications. The device combines a flexible ultra-low-power RF transceiver with a powerful 48 MHz Arm® Cortex®-M4F CPU, supporting multiple physical layers and RF standards. A dedicated radio controller (Arm® Cortex®-M0) handles low-level RF protocol commands stored in ROM or RAM, ensuring ultra-low power consumption and high flexibility. Its low-power characteristics come without sacrificing RF performance; the device offers excellent receive sensitivity and robustness (selectivity and blocking) performance. The device is a highly integrated true single-chip solution, incorporating a complete RF system and an on-chip DC/DC converter. Sensors can be processed at ultra-low power by a programmable, autonomous ultra-low-power sensor controller CPU with 4 KB SRAM for code and data. The sensor controller, with its fast wake-up and ultra-low-power 2 MHz mode, is specifically designed for sampling, buffering, and processing analog and digital sensor data.
