The HC32F4A2 series is a 32-bit microcontroller based on the ARM Cortex-M4 core, integrating a floating-point unit (FPU) with a maximum operating frequency of 240MHz, delivering up to 300 DMIPS of computational performance. The series features up to 2MB of dual-bank flash memory and 516KB of SRAM, including 128KB of single-cycle access high-speed RAM. The supply voltage range is 1.8V to 3.6V, with support for multiple reset sources including power-on reset and low-voltage detection reset. The device offers low-power characteristics with sleep, stop, and power-down modes, and supports independent power supply via the VBAT pin for RTC, backup registers, and backup SRAM to enable ultra-low-power operation. A rich set of peripherals significantly reduces CPU load, including a 16-channel DMAC, dedicated DMA for USB and Ethernet MAC, 8 data computing units (DCU), a math acceleration unit (MAU), a filter math accelerator (FMAC) supporting 16th-order FIR filtering, and an automatic output system (AOS) enabling mutual triggering between peripherals. Additional features include an EXMC, data encryption (AES, SHA256/HMAC, TRNG), and a CRC calculation unit.
