The LA Varistor Series transient voltage surge suppressors are radial-lead metal oxide varistors (MOVs) designed for continuous operation on AC power lines. These UL-recognized varistors require minimal mounting space and are available in multiple standard lead form options. The LA Varistor Series offers four case sizes: 7mm, 10mm, 14mm, and 20mm; with maximum AC RMS working voltage VM(AC)RMS ranging from 130V to 1000V and energy absorption capability up to 360J. Select LA Series part numbers offer a choice of clamping voltage, designated by the suffix A or B. The "A" option is the standard part number; the "B" option provides a lower clamping voltage.
