Beschreibung
MEL7136A is a LED constant current driver featuring low quiescent current and low dropout voltage. Output current is adjustable from 10mA to 1A via an external resistor. MEL7136B is a controller-only device that requires an external NMOS transistor, making it suitable for applications demanding high output current. The output current of MEL7136B can be regulated through an external DC control voltage or PWM control. A single external resistor is sufficient to implement constant current LED driving. The driver also provides soft-start, thermal protection, and undervoltage protection. The EXT pin supports current and voltage expansion — connecting an external NMOS or NPN transistor to this pin extends both the current and voltage range.
