The single ZCase is a bolt-down fuse in a minimal footprint, offering a wide current rating range up to 600A within the same package size. Its time-current characteristics are similar to the well-known MEGA design, making it suitable for full line protection up to 250A. Fuses with higher current ratings are primarily used in typical starter fuse applications as protection fuses. The fuse design is optimized for single-bolt connection — M6 bolts for 40A–250A and M8 bolts for 300A–600A — enabling direct connection to battery terminals or busbars. Littelfuse offers a complete solution including the necessary bolts and various busbar connection options, as well as battery clamps.
