This series of high-speed indium gallium arsenide (InGaAs) photodiodes is designed for OEM fiber optic communication systems and high-speed receiver applications, including trunk lines, LAN, fiber loops, and data communications. Available in ceramic submount packages for easy integration into high-speed SONET, FDDI, and data link receiver modules, or for use as back-facet optical power monitors in laser diode modules. These photodiodes are available in hermetically sealed TO-18 packages, connector receptacle packages with industry-standard FC or SC connectors, or fiber-pigtailed TO-18 packages, compatible with single-mode or multimode optical fiber. Receptacle packages utilize a ball-lens TO-18 package to maximize coupling efficiency. All devices employ planar passivation technology and feature proven high-reliability mounting and contact characteristics. Recognizing that different applications have different performance requirements, Excelitas offers a wide range of customization options to address design challenges, including responsivity and noise screening, custom device testing, and application-specific packaging solutions.
