The CAT808 is a high-accuracy voltage detector for monitoring single-cell and multi-cell batteries. It provides detection thresholds ranging from 2.0 V to 3.5 V with 0.1 V resolution and ±3.0% accuracy. The CAT808's open-drain output is active-low until the ΔV_DD voltage exceeds the detection threshold. The device incorporates low hysteresis to minimize output "chatter" when ΔV_DD crosses the detection threshold, at which point the output transitions high. Once the CAT808 drives the output high, it continues to monitor ΔV_DD until it falls below the detection threshold, at which point the output goes low until ΔV_DD exceeds the detection threshold again.
