Beschreibung
The DAC3482 is an ultra-low-power, high-dynamic-range, dual-channel 16-bit digital-to-analog converter (DAC) with a sampling rate of up to 1.25 GSPS. The device's rich features simplify the design of complex transmission architectures: 2x to 16x digital interpolation filters with stopband attenuation exceeding 90 dB simplify the data interface and reconstruction filters. A complex mixer supports flexible carrier placement. A high-performance, low-jitter clock multiplier simplifies device timing without significantly affecting the dynamic range. Digital quadrature modulator correction (QMC) provides complete IQ compensation for gain, offset, phase, and group delay between channels in direct up-conversion applications. Digital data can be input to the device via a flexible LVDS data bus with on-chip termination. Data can be input in either word width or byte width. The device includes a FIFO, a data pattern detector, and a parity test function to simplify the input interface. Additionally, the interface enables full synchronization with multiple devices. The device is rated for operation over the entire industrial temperature range of -40°C to 85°C and is available in an ultra-small 88-pin 9 mm x 9 mm WQFN - MR package or a 196-ball 12 mm x 12 mm NFBGA package. With its ultra-low power consumption, small size, excellent crosstalk performance, and high dynamic range, the DAC3482 is an ideal choice for today's communication systems.
