The LMZ23605 SIMPLE SWITCHER power module is an easy-to-use step-down DC/DC solution capable of driving loads up to 5A. Featuring an innovative package design with improved thermal performance, it supports both manual and machine soldering. It operates from input voltage rails between 6V and 36V, and provides an adjustable high-accuracy output voltage as low as 0.8V. Only two external resistors and three external capacitors are required to form a complete power solution. It is a reliable and robust solution with the following protection features: thermal shutdown, programmable input undervoltage lockout, output overvoltage protection, short-circuit protection, output current limiting, and pre-biased output startup support. A synchronization input allows synchronization within a switching frequency range of 650 to 950 kHz.
