Introduction
The MC33071/72/74, MC34071/72/74, and NCV33072/74A series single-chip op-amps are manufactured using a high-quality bipolar process and innovative design concepts. This op-amp series delivers a 4.5 MHz gain-bandwidth product, 13 V/μs slew rate, and fast settling time without requiring JFET device technology. Although the series supports dual-supply operation, it is particularly suited for single-supply applications, as the common-mode input voltage range includes ground potential (VEE). The series employs a Darlington input stage, offering high input resistance, low input offset voltage, and high gain. The all-NPN output stage features no dead-band crossover distortion and large output voltage swing, providing high capacitive drive capability, excellent phase and gain margins, low open-loop high-frequency output impedance, and symmetrical source/sink AC frequency response. The MC33071/72/74, MC34071/72/74, and NCV33072/74A series devices are available in standard or enhanced performance (suffix A) grades, with specified commercial and industrial/automotive temperature ranges. The complete single, dual, and quad op-amp family is offered in plastic DIP, SOIC, QFN, and TSSOP surface-mount packages.
