Introduction
The TLV316 (single-channel), TLV2316 (dual-channel), and TLV4316 (quad-channel) devices form a series of low-power, general-purpose operational amplifiers. This series of devices combines rail-to-rail input and output swing, low quiescent current (typically 400μA per channel), 10MHz high bandwidth, and extremely low noise (12nV/√Hz at 1kHz), and is widely used in applications that require a balance between cost and performance. The low input bias current allows these operational amplifiers to be used in applications with source impedance up to the megohm level. The TLV316 device features a robust design, making it convenient for circuit designers. It has an integrated RFI/EMI suppression filter that is unity-gain stable, does not invert under overdrive conditions, and has high electrostatic discharge (ESD) protection (4kV human body model (HBM)). These devices are optimized to operate at low voltages from 1.8V (±0.9V) to 5.5V (±2.75V). These newly added low-voltage complementary metal-oxide-semiconductor (CMOS) operational amplifiers, when paired with the TLVx313 and TLVx314, provide users with a wide range of bandwidth, noise, and power options to meet the needs of various applications.
