Introduction
The F2802x Piccolo series microcontrollers power the C28x core, which is coupled with highly integrated control peripherals in low-pin-count devices. Code developed for this series is compatible with previous C28x-based code and offers a high level of analog integration. An internal voltage regulator enables single-supply-rail operation. Enhancements have been made to the HRPWM module to provide dual-edge control (frequency modulation). Analog comparators with an internal 10-bit reference have been added and can be directly routed to control PWM outputs. The ADC supports conversion over a fixed full-scale range of 0V to 3.3V and is compatible with ratiometric VREFHI/VREFLO references. The ADC interface is optimized specifically for low overhead and low latency.
