The TPS560200 is a 17V, 500mA, low-Iq, adaptive on-time D-CAP2 mode synchronous monolithic step-down converter with integrated MOSFETs, available in an easy-to-use 5-pin SOT-23 package.

The TPS560200 helps system designers complete power bus regulator sets for various end equipment through a cost-effective solution with fewer components and lower standby current. The device main control loop employs D-CAP2 mode control, achieving fast transient response without external compensation components. Adaptive on-time control enables seamless switching between PWM mode under heavy load conditions and advanced Eco-mode operation under light load conditions.

The TPS560200's proprietary circuitry also allows it to accommodate low ESR output capacitors — such as conductive polymer tantalum solid electrolytic capacitors (POSCAP) and conductive polymer aluminum electrolytic capacitors (SP-CAP) — as well as ultra-low ESR ceramic capacitors. The device operates from an input voltage range of 4.5V to 17V. The output voltage is programmable from 0.8V to 6.5V. The device also features a 2ms fixed soft-start time. The device is available in a 5-pin SOT-23 package.
