Introduction
EG8010 is a digital, fully-featured pure sine wave inverter generator IC with integrated dead-time control. Designed for DC-DC-AC two-stage power conversion architectures or DC-AC single-stage line-frequency transformer boost conversion architectures, it operates with an external 12MHz crystal oscillator to deliver a dedicated pure sine wave 50Hz or 60Hz inverter solution with high precision, low distortion, and minimal harmonics. Fabricated in CMOS process, the IC integrates an SPWM sine generator, dead-time control circuit, amplitude factor multiplier, soft-start circuit, protection circuit, RS232 serial communication interface, and 12832 serial LCD driver module.
