The MUX506 and MUX507 (MUX50x) are modern CMOS analog MUXes. The MUX506 offers 16:1 single-ended channels, while the MUX507 offers 8:1 differential channels or dual 8:1 single-ended channels. The MUX506 and MUX507 operate from dual supplies (±5V to ±18V) or a single supply (10V to 36V). These devices also guarantee excellent performance when powered by symmetric supplies (e.g., VDD = 12V, VSS = -12V) and asymmetric supplies (e.g., VDD = 12V, VSS = -5V). All digital inputs feature TTL-compatible thresholds, which guarantee compatibility with both TTL and CMOS logic when the device operates within the valid supply voltage range. The MUX506 and MUX507 feature low on- and off-state leakage currents, allowing these MUXes to switch signals from high-impedance sources with minimal error. Supply current as low as 45μA supports use in power-sensitive applications.
