Introduction
The FIHM high-attenuation dual-stage filter features a compact chassis-mount metal enclosure design for medical applications, with leakage current as low as 5µA @250VAC. Input and output connections are made via 6.3×0.8mm Faston terminals. The filter should be installed as close as possible to the power line entry point to minimize radiated emissions from the power cord inside the equipment. This series is suitable for Class I appliances; all models feature a shielded metal enclosure and are fitted with bleed resistors to safely discharge the filter capacitors when power is disconnected. Safety approvals comply with EN60939-2 for passive filters and ANSI/UL1283 for EMI filters. The operating temperature range extends from -40°C to +110°C, with full-power operation maintained up to +50°C.
