Introduction
The DRV8305-Q1 device is a gate driver IC suitable for three-phase motor drive applications. This device provides three high-precision half-bridge drivers, each capable of driving a high-side and low-side N-channel MOSFET. The charge pump driver supports low-voltage operation with a 100% duty cycle, making it suitable for cold-start conditions. The device can withstand a load dump voltage of up to 45V.
The DRV8305-Q1 device features three bidirectional shunt amplifiers that support variable gain settings and adjustable offset references, enabling accurate measurement of low-side current. The DRV8305-Q1 device has an integrated voltage regulator that can meet the power requirements of microcontrollers (MCUs) or other systems. The voltage regulator can be directly connected to the LIN physical interface, supporting low-power system standby and sleep modes.
