The 74LVT574 and 74LVTH574 are high-performance devices designed for 3.3V VCC operation. The device is an 8-bit edge-triggered register connected to eight three-state output buffers. The two sections of the device are independently controlled by separate gating of the clock (CP pin) and output enable (OE pin). The state of each Dn input (one setup time before the low-to-high clock transition) is transferred to the corresponding flip-flop Qn output. The three-state output buffers are designed to drive heavily loaded three-state buses, MOS memories, or MOS microprocessors. The active-low output enable (OE pin) controls all eight three-state buffers independently of the clock operation. When OE pin is LOW, the stored data appears at the outputs. When OE pin is HIGH, the outputs are in a high-impedance off-state, meaning they neither drive nor load the bus.
