NTE Electronics NTE74121

The NTE74121 is a monostable multivibrator in a 14-pin plastic DIP package, featuring both positive and negative edge triggering with complementary outputs. For design convenience, the device includes an internal 2kΩ timing resistor to reduce component count and layout concerns, and can be used with a single external capacitor. Input (A) is an active-low triggering transition input, while input (B) is an active-high transition Schmitt trigger input, allowing jitter-free triggering from inputs with slew rates as low as 1V/sec. The internal circuitry of the input stage also provides high noise immunity to VCC, typically 1.5V.
