Introduction
The LT6657 is a precision voltage reference combining robust operation with ultralow drift and low noise. Using advanced curvature correction, this bandgap reference achieves 1.5ppm/°C drift with predictable temperature characteristics and 0.1% initial accuracy. It also provides 0.5ppmₚ₋ₚ noise and very low temperature cycling hysteresis.
The LT6657 is a low dropout voltage reference that can be powered by a supply as little as 50mV above the output voltage (up to 40V). The buffered output supports ±10mA output drive (under low output impedance conditions) with precise load regulation. High source current capability allows it to be used as a negative voltage reference with the same accuracy as a positive reference. The device is safe under reverse battery conditions and includes built-in output short-circuit current protection and overload thermal shutdown. A shutdown mode is included to reduce power consumption while enabling fast turn-on.
The LT6657 is rated over a -40°C to 125°C temperature range and is available in an 8-pin MSOP package.
