Equipped with the latest CAD solutions with 3D capability and optical simulation software, our experienced R&D engineers continuously design, simulate, and evaluate new products and mechanisms. The combination of strong R&D facilities and vertical integration enables us to offer custom designs from concept to completion.

All switch modules are manufactured on fully automated production lines with complete in-line component testing. All production statistics are analyzed and stored in computer systems. 98% of all parts used in mec switches are produced in-house.

Continuous investment ensures the tooling department has access to the latest technology. At mec, however, we believe the most important factor in maintaining high tooling standards is the outstanding skill and experience of our toolmakers.

The plastic molding department consists of numerous molding machines. Strict process control ensures the highest precision and repeatable quality, which is essential for manufacturing precision components.

All metal parts are manufactured in our metal stamping department. In the production of contact elements, computer-controlled test stations provide a high degree of repeatability and ensure that any necessary corrections can be made immediately.

Graphic marking is also performed in-house to ensure the quality and durability of standard and custom graphics for the wide range of keycaps and bezels. The assembly department offers various value-added services, such as custom final assembly performed by experienced, quality-conscious personnel.

Production planning software is now fully integrated with the financial and administrative systems. This system provides the foundation that enables us to maintain precise delivery schedules and deliver excellent customer service.

We strive to maintain the highest possible quality standards through our quality assurance system. Through 100% in-line inspection, tight tolerances on all parts, and the exclusive use of premium materials, we are committed to achieving the highest level of quality.

RoHS conversion for all switches has been completed. A separate part numbering system has been established to manage inventory throughout the entire supply chain. All parts manufactured today are RoHS compliant.
