Introduction
A uniform platinum thin film is deposited on a high-grade alumina (Al₂O₃) ceramic substrate and processed to achieve the correct temperature coefficient and stability. The sensing element is covered with a protective coating for electrical, mechanical, and climatic protection. The terminals feature a final pure matte nickel-tin plating, proven through extensive testing for resistance to tin whisker growth.
