Introduction
The NTE2631 is a quad differential line driver fabricated with an advanced low-power Schottky process, housed in a 16-pin DIP package, and designed for digital data transmission over balanced lines. The device meets all requirements of EIA standard RS-422 and Federal Standard 1020, and is intended to provide single-ended differential drive for twisted-pair or parallel-wire transmission lines. The NTE2631 provides common enable and disable functions for all four drivers, featuring three-state outputs and logic or complementary enable inputs. All inputs are LS-compatible and each presents one unit load.
