The RSF10 series falling float switches are designed to eliminate the problem of scale buildup around the pivot point of conventional float switches. They are also suitable for high-viscosity liquids that may affect the pivot action of standard float types. This series is primarily intended for applications requiring high liquid level monitoring. The falling float actuator allows the switch housing and float pivot to be positioned above the liquid surface, providing a normally closed switch contact that opens as the liquid level rises. They are manufactured in a variety of materials with multiple gasket material options to accommodate the most commonly used liquids. Typical applications include wall-mounted kettles and hot beverage vending machines. Versions with flying leads or M12 circular connectors are available. Cable assemblies for the M12 connector version are also available.
