Introduction
JK - SMD1210 - 010 PPTC device, model Q/JKTD - 60 - 010. Terminal pad material is tin-plated nickel copper; terminal pad solderability complies with EIA specification RS 186 - 9E and ANSI/J - STD - 002 Category 3. Marking: JN = 1210(010). Operating temperature: -40℃ to 85℃. Packaging: bulk, 4000 pieces per bag. Recommended reflow methods: infrared, vapor phase, hot air; lead-free soldering requires nitrogen atmosphere. Not suitable for wave soldering on the bottom side of the board. Recommended maximum solder paste thickness: 0.25mm (0.010 inches). Standard industry methods and solvent cleaning may be used. Soldering temperature profile complies with RoHS lead-free process. If reflow temperature exceeds the recommended profile, the device may fail to meet performance requirements. Using PPTC beyond maximum ratings or improper use may result in device damage, electrical arcing, and fire. PPTC is intended for occasional overcurrent or overtemperature fault protection and is not suitable for applications where repeated faults or prolonged tripping are expected. Handling that does not follow recommended electrical, thermal, and mechanical procedures will adversely affect device performance.
