The IRS2092STR is a high-voltage, high-speed MOSFET gate driver designed for Class D audio power amplifier applications with ultra-high output power. It employs a flexible open-loop topology for PWM modulation. The device features bidirectional overcurrent detection and protection, sensing both positive and negative load overcurrent conditions without any external sense resistors, and providing appropriate overcurrent protection with programmable reset timing. An integrated dead-time control module precisely sets the dead time for MOSFET gate switching, achieving extremely low THD and reduced audio output background noise.
