AC-coupled TMDS or DisplayPort dual-mode physical layer input to HDMI 2.0b TMDS physical layer output, supporting data rates up to 6 Gbps and compatible with HDMI 2.0b electrical parameters. It supports DisplayPort dual-mode standard version 1.1, 4K2K 60p, and up to WUXGA with 16-bit color depth or 1080p at a higher refresh rate. The programmable fixed receiver equalizer gain can reach up to 15.5 dB. Global or independent high-speed channel control, pre-emphasis, transmit swing, and slew rate control are provided. It can be programmed via I2C or pin strapping and can be configured as a DisplayPort adapter driver via I2C with full-channel swapping on the main channel. It features low power consumption, with an operating power of 200 mW at 6 Gbps and a power consumption of 8 mW in the shutdown state. It comes in a 40-pin, 0.4 mm pitch, 5 mm x 5 mm WQFN package and is pin-compatible with the SN75DP159RSB retimer.
