Introduction
The TPA313xD2 is a high-efficiency stereo digital amplifier power stage for driving speakers, with a peak drive power of up to 2x42W/4Ω. The printed circuit board (PCB) of the TPA3131/32D2 dissipates heat through the bottom, eliminating the need for a heat sink. Meanwhile, it can continuously provide output power ranging from 2×4W/8Ω (TPA3131D2) to 2×25W/8Ω (TPA3132D2). The advanced oscillator/PLL circuit of the TPA313xD2 uses multiple switching frequency options to suppress AM interference. When used with the master-slave mode synchronization option, it can also synchronize multiple devices. The TPA313xD2 provides comprehensive protection against faults such as short circuits, overheating, overvoltage, undervoltage, and DC. In case of an overload, the device reports the fault condition to the processor to avoid self-damage.
