Introduction
ADUM1201ARZ-HX / ADUM1201BRZ-HX / ADUM1201CRZ-HX is a high-performance dual-channel digital isolator featuring precise timing characteristics and low power consumption. When providing electrical isolation for CMOS digital I/O signals, the device delivers excellent electromagnetic immunity and extremely low EMI emission levels. All variants integrate Schmitt trigger input structures, significantly enhancing system noise immunity. Each isolation channel employs silicon dioxide (SiO₂) dielectric isolation between the logic input and output buffers, ensuring high reliability and long-term stability. The device features a dual-channel architecture with configurable failsafe mode support.
The device offers high isolation strength, effectively blocking common-mode noise and transient surges on data buses or other interconnect circuits from propagating to local ground, thereby preventing interference with or damage to sensitive circuits. Its high CMTI performance ensures accurate and reliable transmission of high-speed digital signals in demanding electrical environments. Devices in this series are available in a narrow-body SOP08 package, with the narrow-body version rated at an isolation voltage of 3.75 kVRMS.
