Introduction
The LM290xLV series includes dual LM2904LV and quad LM2902LV operational amplifiers. These devices are powered by a low voltage ranging from 2.7V to 5.5V. In cost-sensitive low-voltage applications, these operational amplifiers can serve as replacements for the LM2904 and LM2902. Some applications include large appliances, smoke detectors, and personal electronics. The LM290xLV devices offer better performance than the LM290x devices at low voltages and consume less power. These operational amplifiers are unity-gain stable and do not exhibit phase reversal under overdrive conditions. The ESD design provides the LM290xLV series with an HBM rating of at least 2kV.
